07/20/09:  You would've thought it was fall fishing last Monday. It was unseasonably cold for July. The fish were biting better than last week. So good that the first place came in with a 16.12 lbs sack! Yes, Gus McLary and Henry Covington brought in the biggest sack of the season so far. One of the fish was almost the biggest bass of the season too. But it was 0.19 lbs shy of being the biggest. Still, the 7.03 lbs largemouth was the biggest of the night. And because the guys were also in the side-pot, they won the JACKPOT!!! Yes, they won first place, big bass, and side-pot all at once. Super job guys. Congratulations.

The team of the year race is still heating up. While Greg Wilkerson & Dustin Wilson team is still leading on the point standing, the highest total weight (which is the key determining factor of the team of the year award) currrently goes to Kelly Thompson & Todd Lambert team. And the Thurmans team is right behind Kelly's team!

There are 5 more regular tournament left for the season. And the classic will be a one night shoot out on August 28 from 7 PM - 2 AM. Location to be decided. Stay tune.
