EXTRA
EXTRA EXTRA!!! Yes, another Monday niter angler got
married! Chirs
Wade (PBMANG) got married earlier this month. The
beautiful bride is Lindsay Kyle.
As most of you may remember, with her permission, Lindsay lit
up the Monday Night Weekly Fishermen Attractant last year.
Here’s the link to that week. And,
some of you may not know, Chris has been helping with the weekly
picture page this year! Thanks Chris. The couple just got back from
a honeymoon. So be sure to congratulate them when you see them.
Again, congratulations Chris &
Lindsay.
08/17/09: On last Monday
tournament, the THURMANATORS did it again! Yes,
Daniel & Donnie Thurman
won
it for the 4th time this year! Wow! This is not easy to do but they
did it. There are many many teams that over the 10+ years have yet
to win once! Not once. The guys won it 4 times this year alone and yet there’s one
more tournament left this year (plus the classic). Will they be able
to win 5 times in the same season? Well, stay tune to find out next
Monday. Daniel & Donnie brought in a 11.70 lbs sack to win first
place and side-pot. Great job guys. Congratulations.
This win also put the Thurmanators
on top of the team of the year race!!! Yes, they knocked out
Kelly Thompson & Todd Lambert
team. This is it. The race to claim the Allatoona team of the year
title has come down to one last tournament – next Monday! There are
a few teams that could take over the top spot next week! Can’t wait
to see who’ll come out on top. And base on the standing on points,
Greg Wilkerson & Dustin Wilson
have extended their lead even further. They came in 2nd place this
time with 11.55 lbs sack. And, of course, the race to get in the top
25 is very close! Anything could happen next week!.
The bigbass of the night was brought in by the
team of Robert Chancey and
Edwin Martin (Edwin had a substitute last Monday
night).
Remember if you’ve ever finished in top 5 here, your name will be sent to Highland Marina and you will get invitation to fish the state championship in November (Tournament of Champion). So make sure you did provide your address to the directors already. If you finished in top 5 elsewhere, you will also be qualified too if the tournament has more than 20 boats in it. You just have to ask the director(s) to send in your name and a few info about the tournament (see Tournament of Champion site for details. |
