2009:

8/28/09: And the Summer 2009 season has come to a close!  And when it was all said and done, the Monday Night royal couple, Jeff & Britney Gravely won the championship honor.  Yes, the newly wed team brought in a hefty sack of 14.46 lbs to beat all other 31 teams by a mile.  The second place was only 11.27 lbs.  Super duper jobs guys.  Congratulations.  And for those who are uneasy with the weekly/classic attractant, well, the lady whooped your arses, OK?   She deserves the fisherwomen attractant just as she did last year - TWICE.  Yep, they won twice last year.  This year is their first Classic win.  Congratulations guys.

Big bass was won by the team of Brandon and Patrick Croft.  They brought in a sack that include a 5.28 lbs beauty.  They also finished 5th place in the classic. Very nice guys.  Congratulations.

And before the tournament took off, everyone had a happy stomach because ACE hardware At The Village (100 Ridge Road, Canton, GA 30144) had a tent up and gave away FREE hot dogs and FREE drinks at the launch site.  Many thanks to Bob Calvanese (770) 423-1059 rcalvan@bellsouth.net, David Koski, and Marvin Lubas. And after the tournament was over, the very next day, the team of the year Kelly Thompson & Todd Lambert had a nice get together for many who were in the classic at their places.  All who attended had a great time.  See who’s who’s in the pictures page.
