08/03/09: Another one bit the dust.  Yes, tournament number 15 went by smoothly again.  Dusty Woodall and Mike Whitfield took the first place with a nice 12.05 lbs sack.  This put them just an inch away from being in the top 10.  Three more tournament to go.  There’s plenty of time for them to get in there.  Very nice job guys.  Congratulations.

And, Jason Wiley and Wesley Curtis also managed to put themselves into the top 25!  Yes, if they can hang in there after 18 tournaments, they’ll get to fish the classic without having to pay the special fee.  The team brought in a 5 fish sack to finish 5th.  And one of the fish had won them the big bass of the night.  It was a 5.15 lbs beauty.  Congratulations guys.  Remember, being in the top 5 on any of the Monday night tournament will qualify you to fish the State Championship tournament on lake Westpoint in November.

There are now 3 teams that managed to reach 1000 points mark.  A few more teams are right on their tails.  3 more tournament to go and we’ll find out who’ll win the team of the year (determine by total weights).
