The Monday Night Tournament trail has been around a long time. Though it is just a POT tournament, the trail has gained considerable popularity among both fishermen and local community and organizations. The tournament directors, staff, fishermen, and sponsors have made significant contributions (monetary and otherwise) in many ways to local community over to years - Charity tournaments, Charity contributions, Great Lake Allatoona Cleanup, DNR surveys, DNR fish attractor program, DNR spotted bass tagging study, numerous announcements for clubs/organizations/etc., numerous posting of benefit tournament results, and more.
Any interested sponsors can donate $250 or more each year directly to the directors. The sponsors whose team also compete in the tournament will get the right to go on first flight each Monday night. This sponsorship is currently limited to 15. Contact the director for more info. |
