The GALYAN'S
big bass winners, Mike & Miles Crowe.
The sign-up table. Like I said last week. It's not just a pot
tournament, it's a family picnic.
The baddest buzzbaits you'll ever see. Courtesy
of Bill Dare, the director. He's showing off his proud creations. He
might sell you one if he's in a good mood. He'll be in an ugly mood when
he loses the $5 side-bet. So approach him at your own risk.
It's a picnic. It's an open garage. It's
the dead sea bass fishing! Tommy (Pow Pow) Sanders is doing his magic.
It's a sight to see when the tournament starts.
It's also a sight to see when grown men line up in the
rain (often with thunder and lightening) to weigh in fish and then let them go.
It's a rare and pitiful scene when a director and the
lake legend (Danny Thurman, who's holding the umbrella) are trying to do their best to cope with mother
nature during the weigh-in point recording under the nasty rain and lightening.
The die-hard ones stay to hear the winners
announcement.
