Allatoona Team Tournament

Monday Night
June 30, 2003.

The GALYAN'S big bass winners, Danny Thurman with a 6.31 pounder largemouth.  Yep, it's the big bass to beat this year so far.

And another bass to beat, it's the smallest pity thing with a whopping 0.57 lbs in weight!  Yes sir, it's a Deadsea keeper.

The tropical storm Bill was showing its muscle with rain, wind, lightening and thunder.  But, of course, there were 114 idiots, oops uh no no, 114 sensible fishermen signed up and went out to fish/compete for 4 hours!

Here were some of them before the tour started.

Lots of bass and big bass were caught on this bad weather night.  Here's a spot at almost 5 lbs.

And here's another one, also at almost 5 lbs.  No, Bill Dare didn't catch it.  He just want to know what or how it feels like to hold one that big.  The guy from the team that caught it was just looking and wondering - why?

And here's Bill again, proudly showed the $10 side-bet that he somehow won tonight.  The team that lost this 10 bug must have been pretty sucks.
