It's a hooking all right.  It's a boat-hooking.  The 2 guys in a Bullet was only going roughly 70+ MPH when the boat decided to 'hook' and threw the boater/driver 10+ yards away from the boat, knocking and bending the steering wheel in the process.  The non-boater got 2 big red bumps on his forehead and was dazed for awhile.  The boater is very lucky to be alive.  Luckily the boats that came right behind them didn't run them over.  And, the life vest worked else he would have gone under before any of us could get to him.

All wet and sore.  But safe.  Thank god.  And thanks to all the guys that stopped and helped.
