Weekly Winners:
Tommy (Pow Pow) Sanders and Charles Bemus

The second 2004 Monday night (May 3, 2004) went quite well.  The director and the crews had it run correctly this time.  Real smooth.  Good job guys (well it's about damn time).  There were 70 teams on the second event!!!  The last time we had 70+ boats was July 2002!  None in 2003.

And the tournament winners also won the side-bet pot too.  Which means they had a $1000+ payday 'cause there were 33 (out of 70) teams put in $10 each in the pot (winner takes all pot).  The lucky wieners are Tommy (Pow Pow) Sanders and Charles Bemus.  For the big fish, Eric Nethery and Michael Johnson, the B.A.S.S. circuit pros, took the winning honor with this beautiful 7.06 pounder.  She's the "big bass of the year" to beat!  Good luck trying to beat this one!  There were many big bass.  The top 3 were 5.80, 6.12, and the 7.06 pounders.  This goes to show you that the old dead sea still got some punches left.  See ya'll next Monday.  Come join us.
