The 2005 season is over! The 2005 classic is now history. Yes, while all other
sane people were sleeping comfortably in their nice warm bed, the classic teams
went out in the dark and spend the whole 12 hours looking for 5 green fish. Hmm,
I wonder what non-fishermen think when they learn of this sane activity. No
matter, after the long hours
Kelly Thompson & Todd Lambert edged out the rest of the
competitions with a beautiful 13.70 lbs bag. This classic was a very close race,
1st place was 13.70 lbs and 5th place was 12.97 lbs! And the different between
1st place and 2nd place was 0.04 lbs! That little 0.04 lbs is the different of
about $1355.00! Ouch! And the
1st big bass honor went to the 2005 big bass team, Perry Stoner and
Michael Howell. This is their 4th big bass wins, the most of the season.
They brought in 5 fish with 2 big ones. One of them was a 5.3 lbs large
mouth! Great job guys. These two are now the official Allatoona Team
Tournament Big Bass team. The two also won 3rd place. Eugene & Eric
Wright won the 2nd big bass with a nice 4.97 pounder! And they also won
4th place. Very nice job guys. Congrats to you too. There were 5 teams that
refused to weigh in. They were too embarrassed after they saw all the big
bags ahead of them. Basically, they are sucks. One team, for some reason,
didn’t get to fish.
