The 2006 Monday Night Trail has finally come to a close. Everyone enjoyed the season and the friendly competitions. 26 teams competed in the prestigious classic August 26 and 27, 2006 (one qualified team did not fish). The fish cooperate well for some but not for the others. That's Allatoona and that definitely bass fishing. The competitors, friends, and family enjoyed the classic and the camaraderie's that went with it. The winners are Daniel & Danny Thurman. They've been the most consistence team this year. They won the Angler Team Of The Year (with 2 very nice G-Loomis rods to go with it), they won this classic, and they also won big bass on both days of the classic. They obviously earned the title the king of Allatoona (as far as bass fishing concern) and they are the team to beat. Congratulations guys. And, once again, many many thanks to Mike Loner and Cowboy and his staff for a great season. And we are thrilled that the pair will run the trail again next season!
