  04/28/08: Last year classic winners, Tom Kazmerski and David Smith, stroked early this year!  They won last Monday night with a 11.06 lbs bag.  This moved them up to 3rd place overall.  They are one of the most consistence teams around.  Great job guys.  Congratulations. The winning big bass was a nice 3.98 lbs fish caught by Jeff & David Seabold team.  Not the biggest one so far but it's the biggest of the night.  Congratulations y'all. Speaking of of consistency, Dwight & Chad Woodall, who won the angler team of the year last year have now moved up to the first place overall!  They knocked down Chuck and Alan Greer team with a 3 weeks total points of 29.19!  Could they hang on to it all the way with a lot of good teams on their tails?  Tune in next week.  LOL   And, at the end of each month, there are special prices for the largest and the smallest sacks of the month to be given away.  The largest sack team gets $100 and the smallest one gets $50.  So, at the end of the night, the smallest sack of April 2008 award went to Harvey Riggings & Doug White team.  They had a whopping 0.70 sack on the first Monday night this year.  And the actual largest sack of the night came from Justin Buckels & Jordan Cussimanio team.  Unfortunately they were not there last Monday night.  The rules stated that you must be present to win the award.  So the next largest team of April was the team of Chuck & Alan Greer.  They had a 13.98 lbs sack the first Monday night.  Congratulations to both teams.  Very nice job guys.  And another kudos to the new director teams for a job well done (Jeff & Jamey McEntyre + Lamar & Andrew Wehunt).  All team teams were weighed-in, paid by 11:35 PM again And here's an interesting comparison of Allatoona's night fishing in the last 3 weeks:

And here's proof it really went to good use!  Just take look at the picture on the left!  This was from the Monster Truck races at Dixie Speedway last Friday.  The handsome young man in green shirt is a foster child who rarely has a chance to go somewhere like the Dixie Speedway.  He had a chance to come along with Tyler Woodall (center in white shirt) and Tyler's friend (in red shirt).  Tyler's dad, Chad Woodall, got the tickets.  They all had a ball as you can tell.
