Weekly archive:

  04/28/08: 70 teams showed up to compete this week.  The night got colder fast as it got later and later.  many team just pulled out early.  But Robert Drummond and Mark Fisher team hung in there and won it with a 11.22 lbs sack.  Very nice catch guys. Congratulations. And Max McGee and James Ellis team took the Big Bass honor with a 4.7 pounder.  It's one of the fish that also won them 3rd place.  Congratulations y'all.   Dwight & Chad Woodall still hang on to the top spot overall.  Last year's Monday night couple of the year, Jeff & Britney Gravely, moved up right behind the Woodall.  Only 0.45 lbs apart!  And overall 3rd place is not far behind either.  The smallest sack of the night and of the month (so far) went to the team of SuxVille's angler and Crappie 'R Us.  They brought in a whopping 0.95 lbs sack.  They also had over 30 lbs of fish in their best 5!  But those were the dang hybrids which they went after and caught a boat load of.  They are complete nuts/whacko.  Remember, there are largest and smallest sack of the month awards this year.   Again, many thanks to all sponsors who give away stuff to anglers And just a quick comparison of the early weeks this season here's a quick stat:

Not as good as last week since many froze their butts off.  But it's better than the first 2 weeks!  It should get better as it gets warmer.  Please do your best to keep your fish alive and well through out the season.  Good fishing.
