  06/23/08: Last year's Monday Night couple of the year finally "Git-R-Done" this year.  Jeff & Britney Gravely beat out the competition with a nice 9.40 lbs sack.  They have been one of the most consistence team around.  This win also move them up a notch in the angler team of the year race - from 7th place to 6th.  They are now only about 5 lbs from the top spot!  Go get em y'all.  Great job.  Congratulations on the 1st place and the side-bet pot win.  And for those who have problem with this week fishermen fisherwomen attractant, well, just put a lid on it.  LOL The lady beat your butts fair and square.  So it's only fair.  She deserves it and this has been done before too.    The winning big bass also came from another very consistence team - Tom Kazmerski & David Smith!  This also moved them up another notch toward to top of the overall standing.  They are now in second place with only 0.07 lbs behind the leading team!  The winning big bass weighed 5.52 lbs which also contributed to their 4th place win for the night.  Congratulations guy.   So the team of the year race is heating up.  The top 3 teams are separated by less than a pound.  And there are now only 3 teams that has 100% batting average (teams that fished at least half so far).  Can any team has a perfect batting average this season?  We shall see.   Gang, do not be late!  A team was late and was disqualified last Monday.  Not only you won't get to weigh in any fish but you will also not get the 1 pound point for fishing.   Also, be careful when you release the fish or if/when you get off the boat on the bank.  BigAl almost stepped on a copperhead last Monday!  Luckily he used a flash light before he stepped off the boat and saw the darn thing.  So, yes, he got off at the boat dock instead!
