  06/09/08: Well, the weather threat didn't seem real at the 7 PM blast off.  It was nice and quiet.  Then, the sky lit up and buckets and buckets of water fell from the sky a little after 10 PM.  Lots of traffic jams at the boat ramps starting at 10:15 PM.  Chaos was probably a fitting word for it.  The sky just kept on lighting up with lightening all over.  It was scary for awhile.  The picture one the left is not during a daylight, it was during the weigh-in!  You can see the lightening just lit up the sky on the left of the tree.  But the directors managed to weigh-in and paid the money by 11:25 PM!  Good job guys.  Then everyone just haul butt outta there safe and sound.  Be careful guys.   It was a decent night for many but sucks for many as well.  18 of 67 teams were zeroed, including the director team!  And I was told that if you want a good tip on how, what, and where to catch cat fish, just call and ask the directors.  And in the midst of the chaos, the winners are Greg Wilkerson and Dustin Wilson.  Despite the sonar problem they had at the start of the tourney, they managed to bring in a 9.39 lbs sack to take the first place and the side-bet pot prize.  The sonar was never fixed.  And so they said forget the freaking sonar, we don't need it.  And, obviously, they didn't need it.  Great job guys.  Congratulations.   The big bass winners are Marshall Green and Keith Blalock.  This team is on fire!  This is their second big bass win.  They brought in a nice 4.58 lbs large lip to win it.  It also help them finished 8th place which had now put them at 11th place in the overall standing. Though they didn't have a limit but their lbs/bass average is way above average.  Congratulations guys.  Very nice job. And the smallest sack of the month so far belongs to Richard Stevens.  He came in with one whopper.  It weighed 0.91 lbs!  Let's see if Richard can hang on to win the distinguish honor! And once again, the top spot for the team of the year race has now changed!  Kelly Thompson & Todd Lambert team passed Tom Kazmerski & David Smith team this week.  And then there are only 4 teams on the top 70 that still have perfect batting average!  Let's watch if any team will be able to have a perfect score this year.   Many thanks to all sponsors who give away stuff to anglers.
