| Weekly News:
6/28/10:
You may notice a slight change in this weeks picture
page and the weekly FISHERWOMEN attractant. That is because of this weeks winners, Jeff and Britney Gravely. To help celebrate their win, the Monday Night crew thought we would give Britney a little eye candy this week!
Taking home the trifecta of 1st place, Side Pot and Big Fish is tough, and we thought it would only be fitting!
Yep, the lady deserves it. Britney and her
husband won it fair and square. They now join the
Thurmans in "Double Wins" club. Like the
Thurmans, not only that this is their second win
this season but also it's their second big bass wins as
well. To get the normal attractant back, ya just
gonna have to beat them with a bigger sack of fish!
Last night brought the worst weather so far this season. Despite the thunder, the Gravely's brought in an impressive 11.88lbs to win it all.
The team of Tom Kazmerski and David Smith made it close though! They took home second place honors with 11.40lbs! Very impressive guys! And remeber, there's no tournament Monday July 5th. Have a safe and great holiday. See you July 12th.
ATTENTION:
Our fellow Monday nighter, JASON NELMS, is
running for Cherokee County Commissioner.
The voting is July 20th. Jason Nelms is a native
of Woodstock, GA. He is a proud business owner here in
Woodstock. He co-founded his company, Everlast Synthetic
Products, in 2005 with Brad Lund of Woodstock, GA and
Carl Hazenberg of Roswell, GA. Everlast Synthetic
Products is a leading manufacturer of vinyl sheet piling
for seawalls, bulkheads, retaining walls, and lake
walls. They have 12 employees in the Woodstock office
and operate with a multi-million dollar budget.
Jason has fished
all of the Monday night tournaments and is in good
standing. It will be good to have a real fisherman
to give us a voice around the lake, to represent our
concerns.
