8/2/10: This week we had much better weather for the first tournament of August. Despite warm temperatures, 50 teams showed up again to tackle Allatoona. Despite some cloud cover, and a nice breeze, fishing was tough, espically for some of the top teams! Weights were low compaired to the last month, and there were a lot of 2 and 3 fish bags brought to the scale. But, this is Monday Night, and our fisherman (and fisherwomen) are the best anglers on Allatoona, so someone is ALWAYS going to figure them out! This week two teams weighed in 10+lbs, making it a close finish for the top spot!

When it was all said and done, the team of Jesse and Boogie claimed the first place spot. Their 10.70 lb bag was anchored by a beautiful 4.57 lb fish, which was also big enough for big fish. They did miss out on the trifeca though, because they chose not to enter the side pot DOH!. Bad luck for Jesse & Boogie but good luck for our second place team of Stacy & Troy.
